This article discusses how to register a fictitious business name (DBA) in any California city. Known as a “doing business as,” a DBA is sometimes referred to as a fictitious name for your business. If you are considering registering a DBA, you probably are aware of what this type of name can do for your company: it will allow you to run the business using a name that is completely different than the legal name.
