Since 2005, Brad Nakase has served as a business litigation lawyer in California. Brad formerly was a defense attorney at the international law firm Bremer Whyte et al., representing multinational companies like Zurich, Progressive, and Allianz.

Brad immigrated to the US when he was five years old. From age 8 to 13 years old, Brad worked at a sewing factory clipping threads off newly sewn garments that came off the assembly lines — for $0.01 per garment. At night from 6 PM to 9:30 PM, he worked at a laundromat with his family, sweeping, mopping, empty trash, and recycling cans for extra money. As a young adult, he fought raging brush fires in the Angeles National Forest, which Santa Ana winds devastated homes in Southern California’s every year.
